Fall Fundraiser

Bonjour,

In a world where censorship and control can feel pervasive, supporting the arts is an act of resistance. We’ve just closed our production of “Antigone,” which explored themes around the power of the state versus the conscience of the individual. Merci to you all for turning out and making “Antigone” a success. It was an exciting run for the fantastic cast and creators behind the show.

Now, we need your help to continue our good work at a time when alternative voices are more important than ever.

We’ve just received three new matching grants: two from the City of Santa Monica, and one from the County of Los Angeles for a total of $23,350. In a time when funding for the arts is reduced or eliminated, we feel very grateful for this support, but we need your help. Can you please help us match these grants with your contribution today?

We must match these grants with donations from our own contributors to receive the full value of these awards. Please make your gift now online. If you prefer, you can also send a check to:

We cannot wait to see you for our next production, “Border Crisis”—a very funny black comedy by Charles Duncombe, based on a Polish absurdist play by Slawomir Mrozek, which will open November 7. We’ll tell you all about it next week.

Merci in advance,
Frederique, Charles, Archie, and everyone at City Garage.
