June 15 – June 20, and June 22 – June 27 | Mon – Fri, 11am – 3pm
JAIME ARZE, Artistic Director of the renowned Big Sur StageKids, announces a Summer Youth Theater Program for the Los Angeles region in collaboration with the award-winning City Garage theater. This program is offered to local students ages 8-16 interested in a fun week(s) of theater.
For students with theater experience, this is a great way to engage in a new form of stagecraft
For students with no theater experience, this is a great way to get on stage immediately!
No auditions! No scripts! No memorizing! No homework! Show up for games, improv, character creation, scene work, music, dance, and costuming.
The ensemble creates the the play in one week and performs it for an audience on Saturday afternoon at 3pm.
For the weekday schedule, Mon-Fri 11am – 3pm, student sign-in/drop-off times start at 10:30am and sign-out/pick-up times until 3:30pm. For those drop-offs and pick-ups,
there is ample and easy parking next to the theater space at Bergamot Station. Lunch, snacks, and water will not be provided, however there will be breaks throughout the day to
incorporate food and hydration. Interested students, parents & guardians will not need to prepare anything from home or purchase any materials for the program.
The Saturday performance at 3pm will run approximately 30-45mins. (Admission $10.00)
Program cost: $500.00 (per student/per week) • Space is limited • City Garage is a 501c3
